  • ✔️ Packed with protein

The Secret Ingredient: Silken Tofu

Don’t be scared off by tofu — your little one won’t even taste it! Silken tofu blends into a creamy base that’s smooth and custard-like, creating the perfect texture without any dairy. Plus, it’s loaded with plant-based protein, iron, and calcium — nutrients that growing kids need daily.

The dark chocolate and honey (or maple syrup) masks the tofu flavor, making this a sweet treat with a nutritional boost.

Ingredients

  • 1 block (300g) silken tofu
  • 100g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1–2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (to taste)

Optional Toppings:

  • Fresh berries
  • Coconut flakes
  • Almond flakes

Instructions

  1. Chop the dark chocolate into chunks and place in a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Melt in the microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring in between until smooth.
  3. Cool the chocolate slightly.
  4. Blitz the silken tofu, melted chocolate, and honey or maple syrup in a food processor until smooth and creamy.
  5. Spoon into small jars or bowls.
  6. Add berries or sprinkle some coconut flakes
  7. Serve at room temperature, or chilled in the fridge.

Storage Tips

Store covered in the fridge for up to 3 days — though chances are it’ll disappear long before then! It's a great make-ahead snack or after-dinner treat for the whole family.

Perfect For:

  • Protein-rich snacks
  • Picky eaters
